I'm only looking at Dell for a laptop replacement at the moment. My budget is flexible (other than the fact that I think I"m gonna have to get a new car soon), as computers/Linux is my primary hobby at this time...
My use case is fairly typical - surf the Web, email, IM (work-related), noting fancy. I do need dual-boot as my job involves some fairly heavy lifting with Microsoft SQL Server and a web-based app that (unfortunately) makes heavy use of ActiveX and the .Net framework.
