A modded Xbox makes an excellent alternative to a media PC for the lounge TV. Otherwise I can't stand the PS2/Xbox controllers, what with Wii's delicious addition to the mix.

Before that I still didn't like those controllers, preferring PC games to those offered on the aforementioned offenders.
