I don't daydream much anymore. These day's I find myself reminisceing more or just enjoying the present. I used to daydream often when I was younger. The authorities in life didn't like it much. If I were to be caught looking out a window during school, daydreaming about being a friend with some animal or flower, suddenly, I would hear "HEY ROBERT, PAY ATTENTION, OR YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PUNISHED". That taught me to resent authority and dislike cultural structure more than I want to.
Today, we rob children of their ability to daydream and be innately creative with pills. Such a shame!!
