Yeah, and it drives me nuts. most people won't come up to you and say racist things to your face, but they'll treat you differently, and that's just as bad. I'm african american and I have a couple of honors classes, and most of my classmates are white. I feel like everyone thinks I'm stupid and I don't belong there. we choose groups for projects, and they don't pick me because they think I'm just a slacker who doesn't know anything. It really frustrates me. |
