Moniker42 makes me laff... teh troll!

Is there such a thing as being a troll in one area, and only that one area?
Like someone on a board like this that is fine and well liked for insightful posts about everything from socks to the meaning of life. But, they have one subject where they fall into the realm of the troll, let's say in threads about coffee or something? (Odd examples, I know. Hope it makes sense at least.)
