Oww you are getting into dangerous ground there. Catholic doesn't necessarily mean Christian- it CAN but doesn't always.

Christian means saved by grace of God and believes Jesus died and rose again for you.

some Catholics believe that too but some don't. Some Catholics believe Jesus just died- which is why they wear the cross that still has Jesus hanging on it. Christians usually wear and emply cross signifying they believe he rose again and the cross is bare. Catholics have different doctrine- they have the bible but also the Apocrapha which is like church teachings. Christians don't have that and don't usually know about it. Some Catholics choose to follow the Apocrapha over the Bible.
