Default Re: Introduce yourself here

I never know what to say in this kind of thread--how much is too much information? does anyone actually read these things? If they do, why would they care?

Regardless of all the questions I have about this kind of post, I'll give it a shot.

I'm an as-of-right-now unemployed speech-language pathologist. I got my M.A. in May (about a week ago) and have yet to find a job. My goal is to find someone to pay me to work with the really complicated kids--autism, MR, ED...the stuff no one else wants to touch. You never know if your kids will be in a great mood and work with you or if they'll attack you. I love that part of it! I plan to go back to school to get my Ph.D in a couple of years.

Anyway, when I'm not risking life and limb to help severely impaired kids communicate, I read compulsively. I do other things too (sleep, eat, go to the bathroom, etc.) but I don't know that anything else is of interest.

Right. so that may have been too much information, but it's a little late now. (read: I don't feel like editing this.)
