I would have to say hardly, as time goes by I see more and more parents making stupid decisions, it will get to about 1 or 2 in the morning and kids will still be riding around on their bikes in the street, more and more parents seem to be happy about coming home drunk in front of their children and smoking some green in front of them too.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with getting drunk and having a smoke or two but I have never seen it as something you should do in front of your kids.

With all that said though that isn't parents on a whole, just the majority of the ones I know.

Luckily I had sensible parents who made good decisions for me and our family, but at the same time they did not make all my decisions for me, they gave me room to decide my own way of life, I made a few slip ups along the way (I believe that is just part of growing up) and my parents did not punish me greatly for them, but let me realize that what I was doing was stupid and was only going to end up ruining my health.
