Re: Eating habits I eat mainly fish, and some chicken; don't eat much red meat. I also don't see why we should eat kidneys and liver, that are used to filter toxins out of the body - surely it's silly to eat it. I try to have a good, balanced diet, and also listen to cravings as it's often an indication of a deficit of something in the diet.
In principle, I'd prefer to be a "pescaterian" (although I had to Google its meaning), and use free-range and organic whereever practical.
I admire people who use every bit of an animal, and let nothing go to waste, but I admit to being slightly hypocritical for not following that kind of philosophy myself - although I sometimes do have haggis, sausages and burgers ;-P |
