I think it's more a matter of what you're attracted to, rather than something subconscious. I'm generally attracted to white or middle eastern guys - which may be because I'm a mix of the two. But does that mean I'm not attracted to anyone else? No. Does it mean is disapprove of inter-racial relationships? No.
Now, I'll admit I'm moderately surprised when I see one. A friend of mine who is as white as a sheet is now engaged to a really dark black guy. Looking at their photos, it's a little weird, sure - but they love each other, and it shows. And that erases all the strangeness. It's the chemistry and the way they look at each other that makes seeing them together the most natural thing in the world.
