"that's so easy i'm not even going to tell you, figure it out" thing. I was being perfectly polite, and I only wanted to mount an NTFS drive with firewire. I won't bore you with the details (I almost wrote a long ranting post there about it ) but it's nearly enough to make me just scrap Ubuntu and go back to using Windows full-time. It has its problems, but at least you don't have to talk to Linux users when you have a problem.
