“You are just saying that!” Spinner shot back. Then Darcy stopped and backed up. She then kicked Spinner between the legs from the back. Spinner instantly bent downward and looked at Darcy. She then walked up to Jay and pulled him up. She set his head against her chest. She had on hand on his back and the other one on the back of his head. She looked at Jay and then turned to Spinner.

“Get away from me Spinner! You don’t know anything that has been going on in my life!” Darcy screamed at him. Darcy’s cut had begun to bleed again.

“You are bleeding.” Spinner said as he reached out to wipe her cheek. Darcy pushed his hand away from her face. She gave him a look of disgust and hatred.

“Darcy?” jay said coming back into conscience. He opened one swollen eye up at a time. He looked up at Darcy. ‘She was so beautiful. Her hair fell onto her shoulders just right.’ Jay thought.

“Sh. You’re going to be alright.” She said with a smile on her face. She titled her head and leaned down. And then she softly kissed jay on the forehead. Jay smiled the best he could.

“I look terrible. Worse then normal I imagine.” Jay said with a little laughter. Darcy sat there looking at him. She then began to laugh with him. Spinner looked back and forth between the two and shook his head.

“Sick! How can you like him! I mean Darcy come on its Jay!” Spinner said as he looked at Jay. Darcy looked away from Jay and looked up at Spinner. She then began to get up. Jay sat up. Darcy walked up to Spinner.

“First of all, he is honest with me! Secondly, he doesn’t tell me no or remind me of what I should and shouldn’t do. And lastly, he has more courage then you!” She said as she pushed Spinner backwards. Spinner stood there, he was in shock!

“But he has done so many terrible things! How can you…” Spinner said as Darcy interrupted him.

“Don’t you dare throw forgiveness in my face, Gavin? I forgave you once and then you cheated on me! Jay here I forgive him of everything, because everyone deserves to be forgiven to a point!” Darcy said as she pointed to Jay. Darcy began to cry Spinner walked forward to her. “Don’t touch me. Get away!” Darcy said.

“But I am sorry. I am sorry!” Spinner said to her as he walked towards her but she just kept walking backwards. ‘How can I be worse then Jay? How can she pick Jay over me?’ Spinner thought. “Please Darcy give me another chance. I can be all those things that Jay is!” Spinner begged.

“No Spinner I don’t believe you! You don’t have the courage to tell me the truth. You don’t have the kindness as Jay does! You just can’t be him! You aren’t honest with me, yourself, and God.” Darcy said as she kept walking away from Spinner. Tears were rolling down her face. Her cut was stinging because of the tears. She finally turned away from Spinner and walked into Jay’s arms.

“Fine, but when he hurts you, don’t come running to me!” Spinner said as he walked away.

“No one will ever hurt me as much as you did!” Darcy said as she turned her head and watched him walk away.

“Do you mean all that?” Jay said as he held on to her. She smiled. She wrapped her arms around Jay’s chest. Jay wrapped an arm around her. With his free hand he wiped away her tears. He then held her head in his palm. He leaned in and kissed her softly on her lips. He then pulled away.

“I meant every word, Jayson. I never lie, so all of that was true.” She said to him as she slowly opened her eyes. She looked into his Blue mysterious eyes and saw a happiness that she has never seen in anyone’s eyes before. She then leaned on him. She closed her eyes.

“Come on, let me take you home. It’s well after your bedtime.” Jay said as he begins to guide Darcy to the car. Everyone at the Ravine were now whispering and laughing. ‘Oh God, I just lost my tough guy image.’ He thought. Then he let go of Darcy and opened the passenger door. She slides right in the car. She reached over and put her seatbelt on. Once Jay made sure she was safe her closed the door. He walked around and looked over at Darcy who yawned. ‘Who cares if I lost my image? I think I have the real prize in this world. And that is Darcy.” He thought as he opened his door.

“Can I stay with you tonight?” Darcy asked as she watched Jay get into the car. She had her head titled over at him.

Jay looked at her and said, “Yeah, anything you want. I will try to do for you. I won’t promise anything that I can’t or won’t be able to do.” He reached over and tucked her hair behind her ear. He then started the car. Darcy jumped as the speakers blurred. He turned them off and saw that Darcy was already asleep. He smiled as he pulled away from the Ravine.
