I love gadgets but I must be getting old. I see no real use for a "smart phone". I have a work mobile that I mainly use as a stage prop (to leave boring meetings to take an "urgent call"). I have never once felt the need to email someone or browse the web while I'm mobile and I couldn't think of anything worse than watching TV on a screen that size. I think the whole mobile technolgy thing is technology-driven rather than market-driven. They are using the fact that stupid teens and those gen y wipper snappers have more disposable cash than is good for them. Bring back conscription. Or the lash. Oh dear, I am getting old.
