You can also buy $10 worth of minutes if you don't do a lot of talking. Kind of like a pre-paid cell phone plan, except cheaper.
Gizmo is better then Skype, IMHO, because they
focus on voice as a #1 priority instead of new shiny big features all the time. That's why they don't have video yet. Or why their text chatting is still primitive. If you want video chat, there are plenty of other good open-source software that does the job well, but Gizmo's the best for voice.
