Impeached... no. As someone else said, he's close to the end, and from what I've heard Cheney wouldn't be a nice President. Face it, even if he had good intentions, he's bungled that war.

Now I'm a Canadian, and as I look at the purely bi-partisan system you have, I see two terrible options. What I don't understand is why there aren't more parties like other Western democracies. A two party system really means that people's views become more generalized or a government messes up trying to please everyone who votes for them.

Up here we have four parties in the House of Commons (Conservative, Liberal, New Democrat (socialist), and Bloc Quebecois (seperatist), with the Green party on the threshold), and as the Conservative party is in a minority government situation (which you can't get in the States), you get some good deals going on between parties.

Honestly, you need more real choices. Otherwise it's going to be purely politicing between two parties because the other is their only opponent.
