That 2-part episode and the wedding of Snake (Mr. Simpson) and Spike (Emma's mom) were pretty much the only appearances of the vast majority of the classic Degrassi cast.

Aside from that, Wheels also made a cameo appearance in a Season 3 episode where Snake and Joey were bowling to get Snake's mind off of his cancer that he had just been diagnosed with!

Spike's friend, Liz, also made a cameo appearance in season 5 during Spike's stag party that Caitlin organized.

Let's not forget Emma's biological dad, Shane McKay, who appeared in Season 3, and was revealed to have been committed to a Stouffville, Ontario institution! Too bad it was a different actor who played him!

Other than that, the only classic Degrassi characters that have made regular appearances on The Next Generation (to the best of my recollection) are Snake, Spike, Joey, Caitlin, Mr. Raditch ... and, or course, Emma!
