Hard to debate the big picture. There's certainly two sides to the story. Personally, we try to recycle, drive less, use curly light bulbs, etc., to reduce our footprint, simply because we think it's the right thing to do.

I do know one thing for sure. If we're truly screwing up the earth, Mother Nature will let us know. She'll kill off half the residents, and start over. She's done it before.
