Haven't tried it yet myself, I looked at the documentation for Conary a while ago (before the rBuilder online service), and was a bit overwhelmed. It looks really powerful though, and could rock if the tools are good.

FWIW, I think that OpenFiler NAS distro is now built with the rPath system (they previously used CentOS).
