as lots of people have said already, I believe that if you're in a stable & committed relationship, and that you & your partner both understand what may or may not happen after you have sex - once you have a mutual understanding of all the circumstances etc, I think it would be ok to have sex if both agreed and stuff. if not, wait after you get married - it's safer, although it's going to be a long wait.
