I would like to take this time to give you guys some news about the site.

Degrassi Forum is going to get a good number of new features added, if all goes well that should be this weekend.

What are these new features?

Journals

Image Gallery

Shoutbox

Store (allows you to earn points and add extra options to your account)

Custom Page (you'll be able to build your own site right here!)

Leave profile comments (allows you to tag members profiles)

New Changes to the download center (the newer the season, the more post you need before you can download)

Looking into

Email System - I'm looking into a email system, it will allow you to have your own you@degrassiforum.com email. This will cost a bit of money, something i'm short on right now (you'll find out why in a minute).

Voice Chat - You'll be able to talk into a mic on your computer and other members will be able to hear you and talk back to you. Sweet eh?

New Server

I have ordered a new server for the site, the current server slows down when there's a lot of members online and downloading going on. In order to keep everyone happen i'm moving the site to a private server, this will make the site faster then it is now.

For anyone who understands geek talk, the server is a
AMD Athlon XP 2000+, 512MB DDRAM and 120GB Hard Drive.You guys shouldn't notice any downtime when the change is happening.
